These are really important to know especially when you need assistance or when you want to engage in a conversation with someone you just met. You might know them as the wh-questions in English.One quick tip before we start:In Spanish, when writing, we use two question marks, one before the question and one after. Like this: ¿Cómo te llamas?I´m sure you know the answer to this question by now: Yo me llamo AndreaAs you can see from that last question we used the word ¿cómo? , do you remember what that means in English?That's right!It means “what”, but it can also mean: HowTake a look at these two examples:¿Cómo te llamas? - what is your name?¿Cómo estás? - how are you?
It´s best to learn through examples that could come in handy when you are speaking Spanish.

- ¿Dónde? - where?
- ¿Dónde está la farmacia? - where is the pharmacy?
- ¿Cuándo? - when?

- ¿Por qué? - why?
