How to Make Reservations

         Cómo hacer reservacionesThis is useful anytime you go on vacations to a Spanish speaking country, as there is no guarantee that the person at the reception desk will speak English.What places do we usually make reservations?

 
• Hoteles - hotels (remember: the h is silent)
 
• Restaurantes - restaurants

This will be easy since you already know how to say: the days of the week, the months and the time.

         Me gustaría hacer una reservación, por favor(I would like to make a reservation, please)          ¿Para cuándo?(For when?)          El ______ a las _________(The first blank is the day of the week. For example: El sábado. The second blank is for the hour:  a las 9:30)          A las nueve y mediaOk, let's imagine you want to make a reservation in a hotel room for 2 people on March from the 20th to the 22nd.          Me gustaría reservar un cuarto del 20 al 22 de Marzo para dos personas.          ¡Excelente!As you can see we use “del” which means “from” and “al” which means “to”.Now call a restaurant and make a reservation for two people at 2 pm.          Me gustaria hacer una reservacion para dos personas a las dos, gracias.Call a hotel and make a reservation for 1 person on those dates.          ____ gustaría hacer una _______ del ____ al ___ de _____ para 1 ______Now you know how to book a hotel room and make reservations in a restaurant in Spanish!
